Opening Doors to New Beginnings
$20,000 Goal
to provide 100 beds at North County Lighthouse
San Diego Rescue Mission is partnering with North Coast Church to launch their new North County Lighthouse shelter in Vista—a transformative facility moving individuals out of homelessness and into hope. With each bed costing $200 for a full bedding set including comforter, sheets, and pillow, the goal is to provide 100 welcoming beds where guests experience dignity from their first night. Thanks to the Lucky Duck Foundation's commitment to match $10,000 for every new bed opened, donations go twice as far in expanding impact. North Coast volunteers will even prepare beds and pray over the space before the official opening.
"Every person deserves a warm, welcoming bed—that first night of safety and comfort can be the turning point from homelessness to hope."
What makes this partnership special is the combination of practical provision and spiritual blessing creating sacred space for transformation. Your $200 donation supplies a complete bed that provides dignity and comfort to someone experiencing homelessness, is matched by the Lucky Duck Foundation to double your impact, and is blessed by volunteers who pray over each bed. These resources transform cold streets into warm welcome, uncertainty into security, and homelessness into the first night of a new beginning—giving neighbors in need both physical comfort and tangible hope.
Will you provide a bed where someone can begin their journey from homelessness to hope?
