Rescuing the 'Untouchable' Through Education and Love
50 Children
Rescued from Exploitation in India
North Coast El Dorado Hills supports a village project in India through Asha for India, where missionary couples disciple and care for about 50 children. These children are labeled 'untouchable' by Indian society—considered the lowest caste and at extreme risk of child labor, forced marriage, or human trafficking. Without intervention, their futures are predetermined by ancient prejudice. Through these projects, children find safety from exploitation, education that breaks poverty cycles, discipleship that teaches them their infinite worth in God's eyes, and the transforming hope of Jesus' love.
"No child is untouchable to God—education and love can shatter centuries of oppression and write new stories of dignity and hope."
What makes this partnership life-changing is its comprehensive approach addressing both immediate danger and generational transformation. Your donation supports missionaries' ongoing family and ministry expenses, enabling them to maintain consistent presence in these communities. Funds provide educational programs giving children their best chance to escape poverty and exploitation, plus discipleship that teaches rejected children they are beloved by God. These resources rescue children from trafficking and forced labor, break generational cycles through education, and plant seeds of hope that transform entire communities—from untouchable to unstoppable.
