Healing the Heart and Mind: An Introduction to EMDR for Christians
Many believers carry wounds from the past—trauma, grief, or painful experiences—that can affect their daily life and faith journey. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a proven therapeutic approach that helps people process and heal from those painful memories. In this Christ-centered workshop, participants will learn how EMDR works, why it is effective, and how it can be integrated with a life of prayer, Scripture, and reliance on the Holy Spirit.
We will explore how EMDR can help Christians:
- Find freedom from lingering emotional pain and trauma.
- Experience God’s peace in mind and spirit.
- Reinforce the truth of Scripture over past lies and wounds.
- Grow in wholeness and deeper intimacy with Christ.
This workshop offers a safe, faith-based environment to ask questions, hear testimonies, and understand how EMDR can be a tool God uses for restoration. Whether you are seeking personal healing, supporting a loved one, or are a ministry leader wanting to learn about resources for others, this session will provide both hope and practical understanding.
