About Powerhouse Ministries

Transformed Lives, Strengthened Communities

Life Change
through faith-based residential programs

Powerhouse Ministries is a Christian nonprofit in Folsom that transforms lives and strengthens communities through no-cost, biblically based residential programs, crisis services, and family support. They help individuals overcome addiction, abuse, and homelessness by equipping them with the tools, faith, and support needed to build stable, healthy lives. The Leadership College program serves at-risk young adults who enter with bare minimum possessions, providing not just recovery but education and leadership development that breaks generational cycles of dysfunction.

"True transformation requires more than just sobriety—it demands new life skills, restored faith, and a supportive community that believes in redemption."

What makes Powerhouse unique is their comprehensive residential approach addressing spiritual, practical, and educational needs simultaneously. Your donation provides food for at-risk young adult residents when they move in, communal items like PlayStation systems that build healthy recreation, laundry supplies, and cookware sets that teach life skills. These resources meet immediate needs for residents who arrive with nothing, build community through shared activities, and equip young adults with practical skills for independent living—transforming broken pasts into promising futures.
