Alternatives Medical Clinic provides free, compassionate medical and educational services for women and men facing unplanned pregnancies and sexual health decisions in Escondido and surrounding communities. Started by a group of friends who felt called to help young women in crisis, this licensed medical clinic offers pregnancy testing, limited obstetrical ultrasounds, STI/STD education, and evidence-based parenting education—all delivered by registered nurses under the oversight of a medical director. They even operate a state-of-the-art mobile clinic to reach college students and those in surrounding areas who need care.
