Create a Baby Layette: Support this local pregnancy clinic by blessing new moms and their babies with a thoughtfully prepared layette. Your generosity will provide much-needed essentials for women facing challenging circumstances, offering them hope and encouragement. Layettes can be gender-neutral or customized for a baby boy or girl. See below for suggested items to include.

Shopping List:

brush/comb
nasal aspirator
pacifier
infant toy
blanket
onesies (wide head openings and loose legs)
undershirts (snaps at neck or wide head openings, snaps under crotch)
pajamas
blanket sleepers for winter baby
sweaters or jackets (front buttoned)
rompers or other dress-up outfits*
socks or booties (shoes are unnecessary until baby walks)
hats (broad-brimmed for summer baby, soft cap that covers ears for winter baby)

How many kits? Assemble at least one complete kit. If you plan to deliver more than one, please let us know in the comments box.

Partner Organization: Alternatives Medical Clinic

Alternatives Medical Clinic provides medical and educational services that empower women and men to make life affirming choices concerning pregnancy and sexual health. As a medical clinic, they provide services to women facing unplanned pregnancies including pregnancy tests, limited obstetrical ultrasounds, and education in pregnancy and infant care. Each patient is presented with the facts of abortion and the reality of the baby in her womb. Possibilities of other options – parenting, placing for adoption – are explored. Post-abortion support programs are available for those walking through the regret and emotional pain of previous abortions. They treat the whole woman- exploring physical, medical, intellectual, and spiritual needs.
