About Arise: Gloria Giorella-McCafferty and Liz Torres-Whitted and Carol Talbot

Book/Video: "Twelve Women of the Bible Study Guide: Life-Changing Stories for Women Today" in this study we will meet a group of women in the Bible whose lives teach us about ourselves and about who God is. This study will teach us the raw and revealing stories of frailties, struggles, brokenness, and victories of real women from both the Old and New Testaments. GROUP LEADERS: Gloria and her husband started attending North Coast in 2010 and have been involved in Life Groups since 2015. In addition to being an accountant and property manager, Gloria is active in many community groups. She is also a big fan of Hallmark movies. Liz moved here from San Francisco in 2016. She enjoys the Soul Gospel venue and serves on the prayer team. Liz has a Ph.D. in microbiology and a master’s in Spanish literature. She has taught high school, been a nursing home administrator, and worked as a hospice chaplain.
