About *Arise: Pam Andeck and Thirzie Sullivan and Margie Alvarado

BOOK: "Life Lessons from Acts: Christ's Church in the World" As you read the book of Acts, you may wonder: are these the same disciples I read about in the gospels? The ones who doubted in Galilee and ran for their lives in Gethsemane? The answer is: no. They are different. The Spirit dwells within them. And what God did for them, he longs to do for you. GROUP LEADERS: Thirzie has been a member of North Coast for thirteen years and an Arise leader for five. She retired from the Oceanside School District and enjoyed traveling with her husband until his recent passing. She now devotes herself to friends and family and is grateful for their love and support. Pam joined North Coast in 1979 with her husband, Andy. Over the last three years, she has co-led an Arise group. Pam partnered with Andy through his five-year cancer treatment and has gained new empathy for those who have lost marriage partners or soulmates. She loves the support and sharing of real life in our group.
