About Arise: Pam Andeck and Thirzie Sullivan and Margie Alvarado

**This group is currently halfway through this study, but happy to welcome new members** Steadfast by Courtney Doctor: This study is a powerful call to unwavering faith and commitment, regardless of life's challenges. In the book of James, we are urged to persevere through suffering, temptation, and the trials of life, learning to not only hear God's word but to live it out with resilience. This study invites us to engage deeply with Scripture, reflecting on its meaning and applying it through devotion, discussion, and practical steps, all with the aim of cultivating a steadfast faith rooted in God's unshakable love. GROUP LEADERS: Thirzie has been a member of North Coast for thirteen years and an Arise leader for five. She retired from the Oceanside School District and enjoyed traveling with her husband until his recent passing. She now devotes herself to friends and family and is grateful for their love and support. Pam joined North Coast in 1979 with her husband, Andy. Over the last three years, she has co-led an Arise group. Pam partnered with Andy through his five-year cancer treatment and has gained new empathy for those who have lost marriage partners or soulmates. She loves the support and sharing of real life in our group.
