About Arise: Lisa Ashton and Sherry Waclawski

BOOK/VIDEO: "Trustworthy" when hard times come and it seems God is deviating from the plan we assume our life should follow, we’re much more likely to want to tame God, not trust Him. It’s then that we begin to press into our ways and our own timing. No human can carry the weight of being their own god, but so many of us try. In this study of 1 & 2 Kings, we will learn how to honestly reveal the places of distrust in our own heart while exploring the deeply personal applicable Scriptures that will teach us how to truly trust God. GROUP LEADERS: Sherry has been at North Coast since 2002 and in Life Groups since 2003. She is a retired healthcare administrator from the U.S. Navy. She loves reading, scrapbooking, and playing board games. Sherry also enjoys camping and boating with her husband and three kids. Lisa has been at North Coast since 2010 and in Life Groups since 2013. She and her husband have two grown children. Lisa is a part-time realtor who loves painting furniture, scrapbooking, and is an amateur photographer.
