Gently Hugged

Gently Hugged is dedicated to ensuring that babies in need have the essential items to stay warm, comfortable, and thrive during their crucial first year of life. They collect and distribute gently used and new baby clothing (up to 12-month sizes), blankets, and accessories such as hats, socks, and bibs. Each donated item is carefully washed, sorted, and assembled into a thoughtfully curated canvas bag, labeled for a baby boy or girl. Their goal is to place these essential items directly into the arms of mothers in need, offering both practical support and a message of care and community. During 2024, they have donated over 4.6 tons of clothing valued at $176,930 to 905 babies in San Diego County.
