The impact your support can have...

Your donation builds beds for children who currently sleep on floors or share beds with parents—providing the dignity of their own sleeping space and the quality rest essential for school success and healthy development.

Contributions to North Coast Church are administered and disbursed under the supervision of the church. In the unlikely event that a ministry/project is overfunded, gifts may be used in another ministry/project in alignment with our exempt purpose. North Coast Church desires to honor unsolicited directed gifts but the final decision on the use of all funds rests with the Church.

About Sleep in Heavenly Peace Vista

No Kid Sleeps on the Floor in Our Town

$250 Per Bed
providing dignity through a good night's sleep

Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) believes that a bed is a basic need for proper physical, emotional, and mental support—yet many children in San Diego County don't have their own bed or must share sleeping space with parents due to economic hardship. This dedicated group of volunteers builds, assembles, and delivers top-notch bunk beds to children and families in need, operating under the motto 'No kid sleeps on the floor in our town!' Through hands-on service, SHP addresses a fundamental need that profoundly impacts children's health, school performance, and sense of security and worth.

"Every child deserves their own safe, comfortable bed—quality sleep isn't a luxury, it's a foundation for healthy development and learning."

What makes Sleep in Heavenly Peace unique is their hands-on, community-driven approach combining woodworking skills with compassionate service. Your donation of any amount helps provide beds for children who don't have one, covering bedding, sheets, lumber, and delivery—with each complete bed costing $250. These resources ensure children get proper sleep crucial for school success, provide private space that enhances emotional wellbeing, and communicate powerful messages of worth—transforming floor sleeping into dignified rest and demonstrating that every child matters enough to have their own bed.

Will you help ensure every child has their own bed for healthy sleep?
