David and McKenna married in 2021 and have been attending North Coast together since 2024. They have two young boys. McKenna is a former teacher turned stay at home mom who loves reading, traveling, and crafts. David is a mechanical engineer who loves playing golf, eating ice cream flights, and cheering for the Green Bay Packers. Our life group is a place for young families in a similar season to connect, support one another, and do life together. We want to build real relationships, encourage each other through the ups and downs, and have fun along the way. Most of all, we hope to grow in our faith and walk closer with God together.

We will be using The Bible is For You which looks at the Bible's beautiful message of rescue and deliverance. We believe we will all fall even more in love with Jesus as we see each book of the Bible point to him! Our large group time will include a Lectio Divina with the goal of learning to be still and listen to God. Our hope is that he becomes increasingly personal to you as you hear him speak to you through his word!

Kristen has been at North Coast Church for many years as a church member as well as on many serving teams. She enjoys spending time with her family, walks with her dog, going to the zoo and/or Safari Park and watching college volleyball, Ashley is a long time North Coast member who enjoys homeschooling her three kids, playing games, and reading.

Sandra is excited to encourage one another to 'walk the walk' and stay rooted in God's Word, supporting each other in real, tangible ways. She hopes this will lead to deeper friendships and a stronger commitment to relationships. Sandra, a retired elementary school teacher, enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and swimming. She loves listening to live music, especially jazz, playing the guitar, and singing. She also enjoys baking sweets and gluten-free alternatives, reading, and meeting new people through travel and mission trips. Curt is passionate about fostering community and fellowship in the Lord. He envisions group outings, service projects, and theological discussions that promote critical thinking and an appreciation for the literary styles in the Bible. Curt, an IT engineer, loves mountain biking, bodyboarding, hiking, and being outdoors.

This group's hope for this Life Group is that it becomes a place for other parents to come together, be encouraged, and hold each other accountable as they raise their kids. Nicole started attending North Coast Church in 2015. During that time, her and her husband, Ryan, have been involved in a variety of ministries like The Well, children's ministries, Life Groups, and mid-week cleaning. They have three children between the ages of 11 and 4. Nicole is a homemaker and waitress, and she loves cooking, trying out new restaurants, adventuring around San Diego with the family, working at a winery, watching kids’ activities, listening to Christian radio, and learning about apologetics.

Grant and Madison married in September 2024. Grant is an insurance underwriter and has attended North Coast since childhood, and Madison is a saleswoman and event coordinator who has attended North Coast since 2015. They enjoy traveling, coffee, theater, and cooking. Jeremy and Kari married in July 2022 and have attended North Coast since 2022. Kari is a high school Spanish teacher who loves traveling and learning about other cultures. Jeremy is a video game developer who loves tea and cooking. Guy is the Music Director for Traditions, their son, Quinton is the pianist, and Cyndi adds vocals once a month. Ashlie, their daughter-in-love is SM/E Children's Pastor. Guy works as a driver and Cyndi works in lab asset management. Their home houses four generations, so every day is a party with Q, Ash, the grandkids, and Cyndi's folks. Jerry & Lisa have hosted our life group for many years. Both work full-time; Jerry in the semiconductor industry, and Lisa in social services.
