They enjoy spending time with their two children, family and friends, as well as beach walks, and preparing and eating food from their garden. Stan and Jody are excited to create a space where young adults can grow in community and learn how walk through life trusting in Jesus. Join Judy and Heather as they explore how the Old and New Testaments connect, revealing the Bible’s supernatural nature that unveils how Jesus fulfilled the Law, the Prophets, and the Psalms. As a family, they love to spend time volunteering, or enjoying the outdoors hiking, camping, or just working on projects in their yard. Brent has been in the banking industry since 1995, working at US Bank now, and Tari works in the succulent design industry from home. Brian is a former firefighter who runs a small music business and Lana works at a busy preschool in town as the director. Brian enjoys reading, weight training and is reasonably skilled smoking meat. Our group has a cool dynamic being multigenerational - millennials to baby-boomers. We encourage hard questions and love the collective wisdom that comes from searching the scriptures together for answers. There's a whole lot of fellowship and relationships which sprout from that. During that time, they have been involved in a variety of ministries like The Well, children's ministries, Life Groups, and mid-week cleaning. They have three children between the ages of 11 and 4. Ryan works as a safety manager for a construction company, and when he is not working, he enjoys playing and coaching soccer, surfing, and watching his kids' sports and activities. Just as a plant needs a strong root system to grow, bear fruit, and withstand life's storms, we need the foundational truths from scripture to be anchored in hard times and to bear fruit in a way that the world sees Jesus! We are not after head knowledge. We are looking for our hearts to be transformed by the truths of who God is and what he has done for us. And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. Janet has been attending North Coast for a year and in the past has enjoyed participating in Bible study fellowship. She is a homemaker and enjoys spending time with her grandkids, cooking, pickleball, and skiing!
This quarter, our theme is Rooted. Just as a plant needs a strong root system to grow, bear fruit, and withstand life's storms, we need the foundational truths from scripture to be anchored in hard times and to bear fruit in a way that the world sees Jesus! We are not after head knowledge. We are looking for our hearts to be transformed by the truths of who God is and what he has done for us. And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. Col 2:6-7 Kris Moraga and Zelda Miller will also be leading this group. Both retired, Zelda enjoys in her free time gardening and reading history. Kris enjoys going to the movies, gardening, shopping at vintage/secondhand stores and visiting street fairs.

Linda is also a retired teacher who enjoys traveling! Susan has been part of North Coast Church since 2021. She has served as a Life Group Well Leader since Sept 2023. She enjoys Bible study and has been a participant with Community Bible study for 9 years, currently serving as a group leader. Susan is retired and enjoys hiking, the beach, travel and family time.

Studying God's Word is exciting and new every time I dive in. Sharing and discussing it with others opens up questions and ideas that broaden what God wants us to know. I am not sure how "close" we will follow the entire outline suggested on the sermon notes, but it is a place to start. Sometimes it's important to the group to "peel back" a topic and not just check the boxes. Our group LOVES to play games and share meals together. Bob and Cyndi have developed a safe place for us to ask questions and challenge each other as we study God's word. Fran enjoys traveling, reading, listening to any kind of music, and cooking something new. She also does a lot of quilting, working with a small group that makes quilts for various charity donations, including Veterans, Wounded Warriors, and children's groups. Walks along the beach are always a favorite pastime, as well as gathering with their children and grandchildren, whenever possible. Tim enjoys bicycling, scuba diving, woodworking, community college teaching assistant, and landscaping. The Clepper's have been attending North Coast since 2005. Bob and Cyndi are an amazing couple that love traveling, comedy shows, movies, and reading. They are both retired from the Navy and love serving at North Coast, where they have attended since 2009. Women will be invited to embrace biblical truth and discern how the difficult parts of life are actually a unique gift from God. Together we will learn how to flip the script on a hard season and live faithfully in the tension of between what is and what is not yet. We will be encouraged to notice how God is profoundly present, how He wastes nothing, and how He's active and using this exact moment for the very purposes He's calling us to. The purpose of North Coast Church Women's Ministry is to point women to Jesus as we walk through the different seasons and challenges of life together. Our focus is to enjoy gathering together in worship, prayer, fellowship and growing spiritually. Marge Miller is a retired marketing manager and enjoys a bit slower pace with reading, traveling, the beach, and spending time with family. She attended Sunhills Church for nine years, now North Coast Church. She enjoys bible study and has participated in Women's studies for over 20 years.

Through her time in bible studies, she hopes to see relationships grow with Jesus and with her sisters in Christ.
