Not every gift, smile, or kind word comes from a place of love. Sometimes what looks appealing on the surface hides deeper patterns of harm or spiritual danger. In this Christ-centered workshop, Red Flags Are Not Red Roses, we will learn how to recognize the difference between genuine love and attention that is manipulative, controlling, or contrary to God’s design for healthy relationships.
This workshop will help participants:
- Identify red flags in all types of relationships—romantic, family, friendships, and even within church settings.
- Understand what the Bible teaches about discernment, wisdom, and testing the fruit of a person’s life (Matthew 7:16).
- Explore the difference between love rooted in Christ and affection that compromises your peace, values, or walk with God.
- Gain practical tools to set healthy boundaries and walk in freedom.
- Learn how to trust the Holy Spirit’s guidance and protect your heart without closing it off to true, godly love.
God calls His children to lives of wisdom, not confusion, and to relationships that reflect His truth, kindness, and faithfulness. Join us as we uncover how to see clearly, guard our hearts, and embrace the relationships that help us flourish in Christ.
